Shark Real Estate (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates the Shark Real Estate (the “App”), a real estate listing, browsing, and agent-connection platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

  1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and login identifier when you sign up via Google, phone number (OTP), or email.

Property & listing data: property details, photos, videos, and documents you upload if you list a property or create a project as an agent or owner.

Location information: with your permission, we collect your device’s location to show nearby properties, let you search by area, and support map-based browsing. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

Communication data: messages you send through the in-app chat with agents/property owners, including text, images, files, and voice notes.

Usage & device information: app interactions, device type, operating system, and crash/performance data, used to improve reliability.

Payment information: if you purchase a subscription or promote a listing, payment is processed by our third-party payment providers (such as Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, or others enabled in-app). We do not store your full card or bank details ourselves.

Advertising identifiers: we use Google AdMob to show ads in the App, which may collect an advertising ID for ad personalization, subject to your device’s ad-tracking settings.

  • To show, publish, and manage property/project listings
  • To connect buyers, renters, and agents through chat and contact features
  • To personalize content (nearby listings, recommended properties)
  • To process subscription and listing-promotion payments

  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Other users, as necessary for the App’s purpose (e.g., your name/contact shown to someone messaging you about a listing)
  • Service providers, including Firebase (Google) for authentication, notifications, and infrastructure; Google Maps for location features; and payment gateways for processing transactions
  • Law enforcement or legal authorities, if required by law

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • You may edit or delete your profile information from within the App
  • You may request account deletion at any time from the App’s profile settings
  • You may disable location or notification permissions from your device settings

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
